See Night Calls Juli Asthon

-Maple syrup Maple syrup

three days on the road I usually take James to school, have appeared a couple of very interesting things. I had a note, but I had never lived, the second one is just a novelty.
First thing around some trees were hung them dry. The season of "Sugaring", or harvesting of maple sugar to liquid make maple syrup, has begun. It 's still early, I said a man on the street, the water goes down slowly. Must affect the trees, collect many gallons of precious serum and then, after boiling, the syrup is ready.
We love maple syrup. One of the "dessert" of James' favorite is the white yogurt with the syrup over, mouth-watering!
And then this year he tried it on snow, yummy! If it snows tomorrow, really, you should try to warm up a bit ', then pour in the snow. In contact with the cold becomes a kind of toffee, caramel syrup ...
Here is a view from the road by Emerson Farm, Packers Falls, Durham. As with many other things that relate to Mother Nature, it takes a lot of respect and patience.
The second new thing on the road is the appearance of certain signs, well-positioned to indicate the new bumps formed from the ice on the asphalt. Two words that I had never heard "FROST HEAVES" and that just did not understand (I felt "Frost Thieves, thieves ice and I could not understand its meaning). Slow down motorists of New Hampshire or destroy the car!
