Valentine

For Valentine's Day we did not do anything extravagant. Little things for us. He was, among other things, the first time we were together in one place ... at least we can not argue! I felt prepared for purses to put some chocolate (taken from the blog of Living Crafts magazine in which they are subscribed .... http://www.livingcrafts.com/blog/ on 5 February).

I cooked biscuits in the shape of the heart to the delight of James (though he wanted chocolate), from the book "cookies" that my aunt Beatrice has sent me from Italy and arrived just 14 Feb.-thanks!

Martin brought us home a bit 'of daffodils and I also got a couple of books on knitting ....

I made this vest, taken on Ravelry http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/humphrey-3 , which seems to please him even if I would have preferred a bit 'longer ...

And Jamesolino, which ended this afternoon, a Basque like that of Margaret (see post of 10 February, Hobbies), but color of pumpkin, Pumpkin! So I fixed all .... and I can go back to my sweater Tealeaves.
