Weekend Weather?

Here we are in New England ... one day it's sunny (Thursday and Saturday) and one day .... never under the illusion is so ahead of time and even after the truth ! Friday morning, the situation looked like this ....

Then around noon the snow turned into rain, then again in ice-cold stuff. The university closed due to bad weather at 12, James was by no later than 12:30 to pick up, Martin had two different appointments from two different doctors in two different cities. Ergo, we spent the afternoon driving from place to place, including expenses. Thank goodness James is growing and very well behaved.

At home we shoveled a little, but the bulk we have taken today. We had about 6 inches of new snow, soft, soft.

addition to Split, we have eaten with maple syrup. After this photo, James ran into the house saying that had frozen fingers, it was all purple. We told him not to worry, not when the fingers are purple you'd need to shake, but when they are white!
