Fishing huts
afternoon, when I went to Durham to take James, we stopped a little bit on the banks of the Oyster. From the wooden bridge, the view was this:
a bunch of crazy local fishermen with their small houses (fishing shacks or huts) there for hours in the cold and frost ....
It 's a passion, I have no doubt, like mine for wool and knitting. But heavens, how cold! And today it went well because we went to +1 ° C and there was a blazing sun (these photos were taken at 5 pm, the sun was beginning to fall)!
must be fascinating to sit patiently, to make holes in the ice and wait ...
We went there a lot faster! The pastimes change as a function of where you live and for me the first encounter with such different habits ... maybe someone will tell me which is a common activity in North Italy ... I dare you.
