CARROT CAKE SWITZERLAND

Dear friends,
I send another Swiss recipe of my grandmother as a child I did not love because too little chocolaty!
Now I have rediscovered his true goodness, and I want to share with you.
Here it is:

Ingredients


5 eggs (to be divided between red and clear)
250 g grated carrots 250 g chopped almonds

200 g brown sugar (we use this but it's good enough to white)

70 g flour 1 lemon zest and juice
Spices: 1 / 4 of a teaspoon of cinnamon, a pinch of clove powder is

procedure

mix the red eggs with the remaining ingredients, add the egg whites at the end
mounted well and pour into a greased baking sheet.

Bake in oven for COLD one hour at 180 °
